entrepreneurship@UBC is a campus wide initiative led by the Sauder School of Business, the Faculty of Applied Science, the Faculty of Science and the University Industry Liaison Office.

Anchoring this initiative is a $10 million venture fund: the entrepreneurship@UBC seed Accelerator fund. Being capitalized by generous donations from alumni and matching contributions from the BC Innovation Council, the Fund has been formed by UBC in order to make very early stage pre-seed investments in start-ups founded by students or recent alumni.

Money alone does not assure a new venture’s success. Through its very strong alumni network and its relationships with the business communities in Vancouver and the Okanagan, entrepreneurship@UBC is providing student entrepreneurs with mentorship, course work and unique opportunities for relationship building and learning.
